She is happy to go with the educators at drop off and always has a big smile when I pick her up. We started sending our son here in late January and Maya has just been amazing with him.

We teach children the importance of sustainability by participating in the local Reverse Art Program, maintaining a community clothing rack, composting, and managing a worm farm. Children help care for our gardens, learn to conserve electricity by using natural light, and reuse water from their bottles to nourish our garden beds. We run action sports, camps, children's programs, recreation facilities and youth services.

At Chairo, we aim to help individual children develop in each of these three important areas. Our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers deliver an excellent kindergarten program tailored to prepare children for school. Our kindergarten rooms are equipped with ICT resources and an abundance of art and craft materials. Kindergarten children also go excursions throughout the year based on monthly themes and learning goals.

Our Centre comprises of 5 well-resourced and spacious learning environments, perfect for children to learn and grow. Little Beacons Learning Centre, Pakenham Campus, is a spacious, light-filled space with natural materials throughout and a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor areas. The sustainable building design and programs are mirrored in Little Beacons, Berwick Campus, which opened at the start of 2020. Both centres are rated as ‘Exceeding’ under National Quality Standards.
